# Weeklane > Weeklane is a minimalist weekly planner and to-do app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. Plan the week day by day for free, and use Weeklane Pro for Plan with AI (connect Claude or ChatGPT and let it plan your week), sync across devices, Task Lock (an app blocker on iPhone and iPad that keeps chosen apps and websites locked until today's tasks are done), reminders, recurring tasks, connected calendars and shared projects. On the App Store it is listed as "Weeklane: To-Do & App Blocker". Weeklane helps people organize the week ahead as a plain, day-by-day checklist instead of a calendar or a project manager. No account is needed; without one, personal weekly tasks are stored only on the device. An optional account (Sign in with Apple or Google) keeps the week in sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android with Weeklane Pro. Shared projects use Firebase authentication and Firestore storage so invited members stay in sync. Device-calendar events are optional and read-only. Available on the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and Google Play (Android). Current version 3.0.0 (released 21 October 2026 on the App Store and Google Play; adds Plan with AI, which connects Claude or ChatGPT to Weeklane, and the optional account with sync). Version 2.5 (13 October 2026) added Task Lock on iPhone and iPad and a Lock Screen widget on iPhone. The app is available in 20 languages, including Arabic with a right-to-left layout. A plain-text version with every English guide's short answer and FAQ is at https://weeklane.app/llms-full.txt ## Key facts - Platforms: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android (Task Lock: iPhone and iPad only) - App Store name: Weeklane: To-Do & App Blocker - Pricing: the weekly planner is free with no time limit; Weeklane Pro has a 7-day free trial (monthly or yearly plan, via the App Store or Google Play), then costs $4.99/month or $34.99/year in the US, with localized store pricing elsewhere; cancelling during the trial means no charge; the one-time lifetime unlock is no longer sold, and earlier lifetime purchasers keep their access - Free features: whole week in one view, tap to check off, add/move/reorder/edit tasks, task colours, light/dark mode, Home Screen widgets where supported, full participation in projects you are invited to - Weeklane Pro features: Plan with AI (connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP assistant; see https://weeklane.app/ai), sync across devices with an optional Apple or Google account, Task Lock (iPhone and iPad only), reminders and task times, daily/weekly recurring tasks, connected read-only calendar events, creating personal projects, creating shared projects with invited members and real-time collaboration, project deadlines and reminders - Collaboration: only Pro users can create projects; invited free users can fully use the projects they are invited to - Privacy: no advertisements and no analytics or tracking SDKs; without an account, personal weekly tasks are stored only on the device; with the optional account, tasks sync through Firebase/Firestore and the account and synced data can be deleted at any time (https://weeklane.app/delete-account); Weeklane does not use tasks to train AI; shared projects use Firebase authentication and Firebase/Firestore storage; device-calendar access is granted by permission and read-only; Apple and Google process payments; data is never sold - Contact: contact@globany.com - Formerly named Tally To Do (tallytodo.com now redirects to weeklane.app); same app, same store listings - Support: https://weeklane.app/support (FAQ, restore purchases, cancelling, data deletion, contact); Swedish: https://weeklane.app/sv/support, German: https://weeklane.app/de/support ## Plan with AI (new in Weeklane 3.0, available now) Plan with AI is available now in Weeklane 3.0 (released 21 October 2026 on the App Store and Google Play). Weeklane has no chat of its own: the user connects an AI assistant they already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT (also Grok, Perplexity, Mistral Le Chat, the Gemini app's custom apps, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor and other apps that support remote MCP servers), to Weeklane's MCP server at https://mcp.weeklane.app/mcp. In Claude, Weeklane is listed in the Claude Connectors Directory (https://claude.ai/directory/weeklane), so it can be added from the directory in one step; other apps add the server URL as a custom connector. Sign-in is OAuth with the same Apple or Google account used in the Weeklane app. Requirements: Weeklane 3.0 or later, signed in under Settings → Account, and Weeklane Pro (earlier lifetime unlock owners are included). The assistant can read the week, search tasks, add tasks (up to 50 at once, with a time and reminder if wanted), edit, move, complete and delete tasks one at a time or in bulk, set up, change, skip or stop repeating tasks, and undo its own last change. On iPhone and iPad it can also read Task Lock's status and turn it on or off, set the time the lock starts, allow or turn off 15-minute breaks, and switch between saved Task Lock block lists; it only sees list names and how many apps each blocks, and can never see or choose which apps are blocked. It cannot see shared projects. Changes reach the user's devices within seconds; every AI change is listed in Settings → Plan with AI, where the user can undo it or revoke the assistant. Weeklane does not sell tasks or use them to train AI; the assistant's own privacy terms apply to the conversation. Setup steps for each assistant: https://weeklane.app/ai ## Task Lock (since Weeklane 2.5) Task Lock is available on iPhone and iPad since Weeklane 2.5 (App Store release: 13 October 2026). Since 3.0 users can save named block lists and choose to lock only from a set time of day. The user chooses distracting apps and websites, such as Instagram or TikTok (or instagram.com), and they stay locked while today still has open tasks in Weeklane; when today's list is done, they unlock automatically. Setup: open Weeklane, tap Settings (the gear), then Task Lock (the first item in Settings), allow Screen Time access and choose the apps and websites to lock in Apple's Screen Time picker, which covers apps, app categories and websites. Tasks scheduled for later today do not lock anything until their time. An optional 15-minute break can be switched on. It uses Apple's Screen Time API, so the lock is enforced by iOS and Weeklane never sees which apps or websites the user chooses or uses. Task Lock is part of Weeklane Pro (7-day free trial, then $4.99/month or $34.99/year). It is not available on Android yet (planned). Since 2.5 the App Store name is "Weeklane: To-Do & App Blocker".
