Weeklane Support

Weeklane (formerly Tally To Do) is built by an independent developer. Most questions are answered below — for anything else, email us and you will hear back from a person.

Contact support

Email contact@globany.com. Please include your device, the Weeklane version (the current release is 3.0.0) and a screenshot if something looks wrong. We usually reply within a few days.

Weeklane on the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and Google Play (Android).

Frequently asked questions

How do I contact Weeklane support?

Email contact@globany.com. Include your device (iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android), the Weeklane version from Settings, and a short description or screenshot of the problem.

Is Weeklane the same app as Tally To Do?

Yes. Tally To Do was renamed Weeklane in 2026. Your tasks and purchases carried over with the update, and tallytodo.com now redirects to weeklane.app.

How do I restore my Weeklane Pro purchase?

Open Weeklane's settings and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Existing lifetime purchasers keep their access.

How do I cancel my Weeklane Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the store. On iPhone, iPad or Mac open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by Weeklane. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com for App Store purchases, or through Google Play's order history for Android.

My widget is not showing today's tasks. What should I do?

Open Weeklane once so the widget can refresh, then check that the widget was added from the Weeklane app in the widget gallery. If it still looks stale, remove the widget and add it again. Restarting the phone fixes most widget caching issues.

Where are my tasks stored, and will they sync to a new phone?

Without an account, your personal weekly tasks are stored only on your device, so use your device's backup and restore when you move to a new phone. Shared projects sync through the cloud so invited members see the same tasks. From Weeklane 3.0 you can also sign in (optional) and, with Weeklane Pro, sync your tasks across devices; see Account & sync below.

How do I delete my account and data?

If you signed in, open Settings → Account → Delete account and data. That deletes your account, synced tasks, settings and AI connections from the cloud; tasks on your device are kept. Without the app, email contact@globany.com from your account's email address. Tasks that exist only on your device are deleted when you delete them or remove the app. Full steps: weeklane.app/delete-account.

What is Task Lock?

Task Lock has been in Weeklane since version 2.5 (13 October 2026) on iPhone and iPad, as part of Weeklane Pro. You choose distracting apps and websites, such as Instagram or TikTok, and they stay locked until today's tasks are checked off. To set it up, open Weeklane, tap Settings (the gear), then Task Lock, and choose the apps and websites to lock; the optional 15-minute break is there too. It is not on Android yet. See weeklane.app/task-lock.

How does the Weeklane Pro free trial work?

Weeklane Pro starts with a 7-day free trial on the monthly or yearly plan, handled by the App Store or Google Play. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you are not charged; otherwise the plan you chose renews ($4.99/month or $34.99/year in the US, local pricing elsewhere). The weekly planner stays free either way.

Account & sync

New in Weeklane 3.0. The account is optional: Weeklane keeps working without one.

Do I need a Weeklane account?

No. You can plan your week, use widgets, reminders and Task Lock without an account; your tasks then stay on your device. An account is only needed to sync your week across devices and to connect AI assistants.

How do I sign in?

Open Settings (the gear) → Account and choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Your existing tasks and shared projects are kept and uploaded to your account the first time sync runs.

What syncs when I'm signed in?

With Weeklane Pro: your tasks, repeating tasks and reminders, and your Task Lock settings (on or off, timing, breaks, the names of your saved block lists and which one is active). The apps in a block list never leave your iPhone. Calendar events are not synced. Without Pro you can sign in, but sync stays off.

Is sync part of Weeklane Pro?

Yes. Sync across devices and Plan with AI are part of Weeklane Pro, and earlier lifetime-unlock owners get both. Siri and Shortcuts actions work without Pro or an account.

What happens if I sign out?

Your tasks stay on the device. Sync and connected AI assistants pause until you sign in again.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and data and confirm. This permanently deletes your account, synced tasks, settings, AI connections and AI activity from the cloud; tasks on the device stay. Without the app, email contact@globany.com from your account's email address. Deleting the account doesn't cancel a subscription. See weeklane.app/delete-account.

Plan with AI

New in Weeklane 3.0. Let ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant plan your week in Weeklane. Setup guide: weeklane.app/ai.

What do I need for Plan with AI?

Weeklane 3.0 or later, a Weeklane account (Settings → Account, Apple or Google) and Weeklane Pro. Lifetime-unlock owners are included. Without Pro, the assistant replies that Plan with AI is part of Weeklane Pro.

How do I connect Claude?

Weeklane is in Claude's connector directory: open https://claude.ai/directory/weeklane, click Connect, sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use in Weeklane, and click Allow. You can also add it manually: on claude.ai or in the Claude app, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Weeklane and paste https://mcp.weeklane.app/mcp.

How do I connect ChatGPT?

Weeklane is in ChatGPT's Plugins directory: open https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6ad9234fc8f081918c7feb642e79a4da (or open Plugins in ChatGPT and search for Weeklane), click Install plugin, sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use in Weeklane, and click Allow. If you can't find it, you can add it as a custom MCP server instead: in ChatGPT, open Plugins, choose Add, then Add custom MCP server, paste https://mcp.weeklane.app/mcp and choose OAuth.

What can the assistant do?

Read your week, add, edit, move, check off and delete tasks, manage repeating tasks and reminders, control Task Lock, and undo its own last change. It can't see your shared projects or which apps you block.

How do I undo something an assistant changed?

Open Settings → Plan with AI and tap Undo last AI change, or ask the assistant to undo its last change. Recent AI activity is listed on the same screen, and tasks an assistant added show who added them.

How do I disconnect an assistant?

Open Settings → Plan with AI and tap Revoke next to the assistant. It immediately loses access. Deleting your Weeklane account revokes every assistant at once.

Can an assistant control Task Lock?

Yes, on iPhone and iPad. It can turn Task Lock on or off, set when the lock starts, allow or block breaks, and switch between block lists you saved in Weeklane on your phone. Apps can only be chosen on the phone in Apple's Screen Time picker, so an assistant can't add or remove apps; set up Task Lock and save your lists on the phone first.

Does Weeklane use my tasks to train AI?

No. Weeklane doesn't sell your data or use it to train AI. When you ask an assistant about your tasks, that provider's own privacy terms apply to the conversation; check your settings in ChatGPT, Claude or the app you use.
